Prior to 1830
Up to 1864 what is now Franklin street ended at South, the portion from Northampton to South being known as "Green Lane".
On the southwest corner of Franklin and Northampton streets stood the printing office of Butler and Worthington, publishers of the "Wyoming Herald". Steuban Butler also lived here. (Old Map)
